Shawneen & Max

Shawneen and Max are two ridiculous people who enjoy life and whatever it throws at them as much as possible. We enjoy exploring (nature mainly) and photographing what we find along the way. We primarily photograph birds and explore wildlife refuges throughout the US whenever we can. We also take advantage of living in the Pacific Northwest and all the awesomeness it has.

We are kept busy at home by two Tibetan Terriers (Max and Rugen) - and no the dog was not named after Max, puppy Max came before human Max came into Shawneen’s life. They pop up occasionally on our general life sharing Instagram (@ournorthwestlife).
