Our "WeddingMoon" whirlwind trip around the world. (summarized)

WeddingMoon definition - a combination wedding and honeymoon.

North America (USA/Canada) - Our trip started with a short flight up to Vancouver, BC. We stayed overnight here to get a nonstop flight to London. During our limited time here, we had yummy Pho for dinner, found a fun little park with a pond, hit up Tim Hortons for coffee (Max) and donuts and lastly found an Olympic Park venue near a fun little river walk before heading to the airport for our flight.

Europe (England/France) - After getting into England on a red-eye flight we took the train to our hotel near Victoria Station. Since it was too early in the day (their time) we couldn't check into our room so we headed out for a walk. We found a pub and had some beers (IPAs which are definitely not like the IPAs we are used to in the states).  We continued our walk toward Westminster Abbey in hopes of checking it out. We found it after winding through the streets of London and wanted to check it out but all we could find was the security for those going in and couldn't find where to buy tickets so we just enjoyed the view from outside and then walked around the corner to check out the Thames River with Big Ben also enjoying the view. At this point, we started getting pretty tired so we headed back to the hotel and ended up crashing for the night around 5ish.

Our next day we decided to be super tourist and bought tickets for a hop on/hop off double decker bus to see the sights. We started off by taking the bus to Buckingham palace where we did the tour and saw the enormous rooms with gifts the queen had received during her tenure from around the world. We then had fun enjoying desserts in the back of the palace before buying a fancy new tea set that was conveniently shipped to our house.  We then got back on the bus and missed our stop for St. Pauls so we ended up circling again before making sure to stop the second time around.  We walked the stairs to top of the cathedral and took in the view of London which was pretty amazing to see all the amazing architecture of the city.  After the cathedral we made our way back to the Thames and the Tower of London. It was too late to go inside so instead we lined up for our river cruise to take us on the Thames to Big Ben again.  It was a great day so we were able to sit on top the boat and take in the sights from a different view.  Some of our other sights for the day - Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Square, the Shard, and the list goes on. We tried to head to bed early as we had to be up super early the next morning for a day trip to Paris.
